Live Blogging: Stanford Cardinal at Washington Huskies

Hello and welcome to another edition of Live Blogging on 'Shish on College Basketball'.  Tonight was suppose to be Louisville Cardinals and Boston College Eagles, however I was unable to get the feed to that game.  I do however have a feed on a Pac-12 matchup between Stanford Cardinal and Washington Huskies.  Both teams are 14-5, however Stanford is the team in this matchup fighting with Utah and Arizona for the conference lead.  It is the Stanford Cardinal and the Washington Huskies next on 'Shish on College Basketball'.

1st Half:
Stanford has the early lead vs. Washington 5-2.

T.V. Timeout: 15:02: Stanford has the early 12-4 lead over the Washington Huskies.

Stanford starting off the game 7-10 from the field, while Washington is only 2-7 from the field.

Stanford Timeout 12:35; Stanford now has a 57-35 lead over the Huskies.

Huskies are playing like they are thinking about Sunday's Super Bowl between the Seahawks and New England Patriots.

Looking at the current standings of the Pac-12, it looks like only 3 teams are going to represent the Pac-12 in the NCAA Tournament.   Arizona, Utah and Stanford are those 3 teams who are going to play in March.  Stanford is currently playing like a NCAA tournament team.

T.V. Timeout 11:36: Stanford leads Washington 57-35.

Stanford is hitting 6 out of 11 shots from behind a 3-point line, Washington has not made a 3-point shot in the game.

T.V. Timeout 7:17: Stanford has a 61-44 lead over Washington.

Live Blogging: North Carolina Tar Heels at N.C. Carolina State Wolfpack

Hello and welcome to another edition of Live Blogging on 'Shish on College Basketball'.  Tonight, it is an ACC matchup between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the N.C. State Wolfpack in Raleigh, N.C.

North Carolina State is coming off an upset victory vs. Duke and is now trying to continue this momentum against another in-state rival the Tar Heels.  It is Carolina and N.C. State, next on 'Shish on College Basketball'.

1st Half:
Tip-Off won by North Carolina and scores first basket.

The last time I blogged a N.C. State game, Ralston Turner had a huge game vs. Tennessee Volunteers.

T.V. Timeout #1, 15:59: Tar Heels lead the Wolfpack 6-5.

Next Wednesday: Purdue @ Illinois 6 p.m. CST
(Game Subject to Change)

T.V. Timeout #2, 11:59: N.C. State leads Tar Heels 13-12.

T.V. Timeout # 3: 7:57: N.C. State leads Tar Heels 17-16.

4:05: N.C. State in Bonus.

T.V. Timeout #4: 3:41: N.C. State and North Carolina are tied at 23.
Turner leads Wolfpack with 8 points, while Marcus Paige leads the Tar Heels with 8 points.

Good finish for the Tar Heels in the 1st Half.  Tar Heels lead the Wolfpack 32-26 at Halftime.

Marcus Paige had 14 Points and a perfect 4-4 from behind the 3-Point Line.

Trevor Lacey has 4 Points and is shooting 2-10 from the field.

This half's tempo is fast. 42 combined points before halfway point of 2nd Half.

T.V. Timeout #2 11:41: North Carolina leads the Wolfpack 52-48.

Ralston Turner has 4 fouls in the game.  Carolina leads N.C. State 57-52, less than 10 minutes left in the game.

5:40: Both teams are now in the Bonus.  Both teams only have 3 timeouts remaining.

If Ralston Turner fouls out of the game, then the Tar Heels will leave Raleigh with a victory.

Marcus Paige and Kennedy Meeks are giving the Tar Heels a good inside-outside game.

3:46: North Carolina leads N.C. State 73-62.

N.C. State in Double Bonus.

Possession Arrow belongs to North Carolina.

1:20: Jump Ball North Carolina.

Timeout N.C. State: North Carolina holding on to a 3-point lead.  77-74.

:3.1: Ralston Turner fouls out of the game. Carolina leads Wolfpack 77-76.

The question coming out of this game will be why didn't Anthony Barber miss the second free throw with less 4 seconds left in the game.  That second free throw made, lead to Ralston Turner fouling out of the game.

Both teams are out of timeouts.

:1.7: Lacy makes both free throws.

Two attempts for the N.C. State free throw shooter failing to miss his second free throw in the final five seconds of this game.

:0.2: Foul on North Carolina.  Abu makes first free throw.  Misses free throw, but Cody Martin misses tip-in for N.C. State.
